HOW TO APPLY ONLINE
Candidates are advised to follow the rules for admission to First Year Engineering and rules for direct admission to Second Year Engineering degree course as published by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bihar State from time to time. However some of the basic guidelines are given below.
Apply online is two step process :
- Step 1 : Register yourself online if you are new candidate.Register Yourself
- Step 2 : Apply for the admission by login if you are already register.Login & Apply
50% of total intake will be filled through Bihar Combined Entrance competitive Examination (BCECE) , Patna, Bihar. Rest 50% of seats from the Management Quota.
HOW TO APPLY OFFLINE
Candidates are advised to follow the rules for admission to First Year Engineering and rules for direct admission to Second Year Engineering degree course as published by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bihar State from time to time. However some of the basic guidelines are given below. All the candidates are advised to submit their applications to the Admission Authorities notified by the Government of Bihar on or before the last date of application unless specified differently elsewhere in this brochure.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- For
the candidate of Bihar State
In addition to Educational Qualification as specified in the Para ? Entrance Requirement ? candidate are required to appear for BCECEB and secured to nonzero score to be eligible for admission for State Quota.
- For
the candidates of Outside Bihar State
In addition to Educational Qualification as specified in the para ? Entrance Requirement?, candidates from outside Bihar State are required to appear & qualify in All Indian Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by C.B.S.E., New Delhi for the Academy year to be eligible for admission against these AIEEE reserved seats.

For the candidates wishing admission under Management Quota
Admission will be made through COMMON ENTRANCE TEST . Entrance Test will consist of the following subjects (1) PHYSICS (2) CHEMISTRY (3) MATHEMATICS .of one hour duration.
- Direct
admission to Second Year Engineering after passing Diploma
Course
After admitting candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned, if the vacancies still exist after the cut of date declared by the concerned Government authority, the Principal may admit diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in Engineering/Technology in their respective branch affiliated to any State Technical Board or its equivalent with minimum 60% marks against these vacancies. B. Sc., Math hons). passed candidates may take admission in 2nd year B. Tech. in any Branch. Such admissions are also as per merit of candidates applied for the particular course.
